Ben and the team did an amazing job in updating my back garden and giving our driveway a new lease of life. My 1990s weed ridden and neglected garden was an embarrassment to show people let alone use. Ben and his team did some extensive paver laying at our place about 13-15 months ago. Included were pedestrian pavers for the back patio and vehicle pavers for the driveway. We used permeable pavers to allow rainfall to go through into the subsoil so it was important to have a deep and graded agg base to allow water to flow through. Ben and his team did a great job of laying the base and the pavers so that the system functioned perfectly even in the storms at the beginning of Feb 2020. The driveway shows no sign of any subsidence, even though we had a large skip on one side for over a week – the compaction of the agg base was that good. The levels of the pavers were contoured to meet step-free accessibility requirements, and the pavers were cut in neatly without gaps around downpipes etc. Ben and all his team were efficient, polite and considerate of us while on site.

The end result is an absolutely fabulous front entrance to our property, which everyone remarks on. Ben and his team surpassed expectation when engaged to clear out a very overgrown and neglected large garden on a difficult, steep site. Ben provided a fair estimate, completed the work on time and under budget, with minimal disruption to the on-site tenant, and liaised with and kept me up-to-date while I am living half way around the world in a very non-compatible time zone!
