Mativa Filipo

Operations Manager

Mativa joined Ben only 6 months after the company started, having previously worked together for a number of years.

With so many years together there is clear comradery and friendship which really sets the tone for Creative Nature Landscapes.

Mativa gained his Cert III in Landscaping & Horticulture In 2006. Now Mativa is Operations Manager. Within this role, Mativa focuses on business growth, staff development, job scheduling and ensuring all our jobs are finished to the high standard that Creative Nature Landscape Services is known for.

Mativa likes all aspects of landscaping but really enjoys working with natural products such as sandstone to give either a formal or more natural feel to our projects.

Mativa is known within the company for his love of fancy dress on our quarterly staff days that focus on staff appreciation, team building and having fun with your mates.

Mativa is really motivated by the changes great landscaping can make to people’s lifestyles; by delivering a final product that gives clients even more than they imagined and putting a smile on people’s faces through his happy demeanour, amazing work ethic and the joy of crafting something that will be loved for many years to come.

Fuimanu Enese (Manu)

Manu started his apprenticeship in 2019, and joined the team at the beginning of 2021 as a 2nd year apprentice with arborist and parks and gardens experience.

He is currently in his 4th year to finish his trade.

He loves all aspects of landscaping and learning new skills. He really enjoys seeing the job slowly come together over the duration of the project, as well as the final results. “It’s always awesome to see and hear how much of a positive change we’ve made for the client,” says Manu.

If he’s not landscaping he can be found at the gym. Fun fact? Manu is an ex Penrith Panthers player!

Pradit Jum Jitprung

Pradit joined Creative Nature in August 2020 as a labourer. Ben then took him on as a full time apprentice and now he is going into his third year at TAFE.

“As a landscaper, we do a lot of things, which is amazing”, says Pradit, “but if I had to say what I liked and enjoyed most so far then it would be timber decks, retaining walls and screens.” His favourite quote? “This is the way,” from The Mandalorian.
